to the new Food Crew Website!
Thank you
Steve (Food Crew’s Web Guru) for pulling us through
the development of this long-anticipated website! It’s
been a long road here and a lot has happened. I’m
glad you’ve joined us.
After
years working as a personal chef, catering, owning and
operating a restaurant, I met a fabulous woman named
Denise (herself a world renowned food stylist extraordinaire!)
who took me under her wing. Teaching me the ins and
outs of food styling, we became fast friends. Like a
good friend, Denise referred me to a client I’ve
had for the last four years, giving me the opportunity
to develop recipes and write cookbooks for a Food Network
personality. As my business grew, I met the Lovely and
Talented Lynley (or LT for short). LT is now my right
hand and go-to food stylist, keeping me on track and
in line.
Here
at Food Crew we’ve developed 14 cookbooks, styled
production shots for several books, television, film,
and commercials. Most recently, I served as culinary
producer and developed the recipes for Naturally Delicious
with Ann Gentry on the Veria Network. Right now (literally,
it’s in the oven) we’re developing low-fat
recipes for a new book with Randy Jackson; think skinny
soul-food. We even just shipped some recipes for organic
baby food for the good folks at Hushabye Baby Music.
With
so much going on here, our new site, and particularly
our blog, I’m excited to finally have a place
to share my thoughts about all things culinary.
